Higashi-Kagawa City is a major glove manufacturing center with a 120-year history in the industry and a 90% share of the domestic market. It was here that Ruboa began as a glove manufacturer in 1961. Since then, Ruboa has evolved into one of Shikoku’s top leather goods and accessories manufacturers. The leatherworking skills gained in the glove industry are evident in the superior workmanship of our products and all manufacturing processes from raw materials to finishing are conducted in Japan by expert craftsmen.
